About IPI

I am a passionate diver and photographer living on the stunning Capricorn Coast of Queensland, Australia. I received my open water certification in 2006, and have since gone on to be certified in decompression diving/advanced nitrox and cave diving.

My local dive scene is Keppel Bay, home to the Keppel Island group consisting of 17 rocks and islands, the largest of which is the inhabited island (and tourist hub) of Great Keppel island (GKI). We dive around GKI and the surrounding islets, including Barren, Miall, Middle, Humpy Islands, and Outer, Flat, Bald and Man and Wife Rocks.

My true happy place is the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, in particular the extensive cave systems centred around Tulum and Playa del Carmen. I have conducted over 150 dives in these extensive underwater systems.

My current equipment includes….

  • Sony A7RIII camera and Nauticam housing
  • Sony FE 28-60 f4-5.6 zoom + Nauticam WWL-1B (wide angle setup)
  • Sony FE 28 f2 + Nauticam WWL-1B (wide angle setup for cave photography)
